A fire, thought to be malicious in intent, took the life of Kalon's mom when he was very young. Police, firefighters-people who were supposed to come aid in crisis-didn't until it was far too late. Seeing that society was failing them, Kalon, his dad, aunt and two kid cousins moved to be closer to nature. Essentially "falling off the grid" in a semi-homesteading fashion.But still needing a way to support his family financially, Kalon takes on the job of being a guard-for-hire in the FAE WORLD.~~~

He's very good at collecting and finding information and it's become his main source of income. Which in some cases has maybe gotten himself into some tricky situations because of it.Growing up, Lucas didn't have much; A father and brother who both died in the military and a mother who was too grief-stricken to function and couldn't do much for herself. So Lucas had to step in even though he himself was just a kid living on basically nothing.Not long after his engagement to Noah, the two had found themselves encountering a young human girl, Elenor. Said girl had been under the care of her Fae mentor, who then asked Lucas and Noah to take Elenor with them. After much convincing (from Lucas), Elenor became apart of the family. Now, Lucas hopes to find answers that could help in getting Elenor back to the HUMAN WORLD.~~~

Strangely, she found herself unable to leave the way she came. Or any other way, for that matter. Subsequently, Elenor grew up in the FAE WORLD and was raised by an ancient Fae who taught her how to use the rawest form of magic, becoming a Witch as her skills grew and developed.It wasn't until she was a barely a teenager that a couple, Lucas and Noah, found and grew fond of Elenor, adopting her and providing her with a stable family while they search for a way to bring her back to the HUMAN WORLD.~~~

But even she can't deny that, save for the company of her Doberman dog, Sirius, she finds herself more alone then ever.Living on her own, Tala finds herself snippy with others, openly expresses her hostility and disappointment towards mention of the FAE WORLD, and pushes away those she thinks won't stay. Yet she's desperate for someone--anyone, to stay and appreciate the wonders of her dying home.And that wish of hers is granted... more or less. Tala finds a Fae named Leon in the HUMAN WORLD, an act seen as strictly taboo for the Fae. Despite her grudges, Tala reluctantly agrees to hide and house Leon, unsure of what this may bring her.~~~

The gears in his head are always turning; thinking of the next steps, things that could go wrong and how to prevent those wrongs from happening. The more predictable the path ahead is, the better. Despite his standoffish attitude, Noah is very protective of his loved ones. He would burn the world down for them.Noah comes from a wealthy family in the HUMAN WORLD and has made a name for himself as a leading scholar in the FAE WORLD; being the one who figured out how store and stabilized the magical substance of mana more effectively. It's earned him a high standing position amongst the wealthy, one earned by his own merit. Though to his dismay, he could go without the fancy additions of the title.Ever since adopting Elenor, it's been Noah's goal to find a way to get her back to the HUMAN WORLD and establish a hom outside of the FAE WORLD. With her unable to leave, he and Lucas are stuck in this back and forth situation. And with humans starting to disappear, he's become even more desperate to find a solution.~~~
